Community sales entry added to EU companies' order confirmations

A VAT marking recommended by the Tax Administration has been added to the PDF order confirmations for business customers in the EU area:

“VAT 0 % EU Intra Community supply 2006/112/EC Article 138”.

This meets the requirements of the VAT Act regarding the visibility of the seller's and buyer's VAT identifiers as well as the clear marking of exempt sales. The marking helps avoid interpretative ambiguities and is in line with the guidelines of the Tax Administration. With this update, order confirmations are clearer and more compliant regarding EU intra-community sales.
