The AI Commerce platform's support for the phpList hosting service will end on June 1, 2025. The decision is based on inadequate GDPR support, decreased delivery reliability, and a lack of automation features compared to modern solutions.
What does this mean?
phpList will no longer be available as a newsletter solution managed by AI Commerce starting June 1, 2025. If you are using phpList to send newsletters, we recommend migrating to an alternative service no later than the end of May.
Recommended alternatives for newsletter communication:
CreaMailer: A domestic service with unlimited sends and a ready integration with AI Commerce.
Klaviyo: Effective segmentation and automation, particularly suitable for online stores.
MailChimp: A well-known and versatile solution with lightweight starter packages.
Mailjet: Easy to set up and competitively priced even for large volumes.
Actions for clients:
Download subscriber lists from phpList in CSV format before June 1, 2025.
If the lists are not specifically removed, we can restore them from backups within one year (until June 1, 2026).
