The quote conversion tracking in AI Commerce has received a new logic that allows for more accurate measurement of advertising return in Google Ads. The “Quote Conversion Value” setting found in MyStore settings now supports three different values:
Numeric value (e.g. 100): The given value is set as the conversion value for quote requests.
“cart”: The value of the quote is calculated based on the actual value of the shopping cart.
0: Quotes do not accumulate conversion value.
This change brings more flexibility to analyzing the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. The merchant can define which value best reflects the true customer-specific value of their business regarding quote requests.
Together with AI Commerce's native conversion tracking, this enables:
Tracking of shopping carts, quote requests, phone calls, and contacts without Google Tag Manager
Defining an accurate value for conversion events, which facilitates the optimization of Google Ads campaigns
Unique tracking of clicks on phone number and email contacts within the session
Realistic comparison of mass results and conversions to actual sales figures
Remember: the functionality of conversion tracking requires that AI Commerce's ready-made events are activated and the conversion pixel is installed according to the instructions.
