Presentation of delivery costs in the shopping cart according to EU directives

AI Commerce has updated the presentation of shopping cart delivery charges to comply with EU directives. The previously used default message “Delivery charges 0€” has now been removed, and delivery charges will only be displayed once the customer selects the delivery method at checkout.

The purpose is to prevent misunderstandings where the customer assumes that delivery is automatically free. If there is an active promotion in the store where delivery is free, it will still be clearly presented in the shopping cart with a separate notice.

This improves transparency and customer satisfaction, and reduces unnecessary support requests and abandoned orders due to unclear delivery charges.
