Improvement
Apr 16, 2025
The system will now automatically check that all CSV files are in the correct UTF-8 character encoding before import. If the file is not in UTF-8 format and contains special characters or umlauts, the import will be halted and a clear error message will be displayed to the user. This prevents common issues where umlauts disrupt database records or cause incorrect product information. The user is instructed to save the file again in UTF-8 encoding and try again. This improvement ensures data integrity and facilitates error tracking, especially during import.
