Algolia is a lightweight search solution that can be implemented in an AI Commerce online store independently as follows:
Create an Algolia account Create an account on Algolia's website: https://dashboard.algolia.com/users/sign_up. Algolia offers a free trial and a PAYG (Pay as you go) model, which is well-suited for trying out and implementing the service.
Algolia settings and API keys Once you have created an account, select PHP as the programming language during the setup phase, at which point Algolia will provide you with AppID and AppSecret keys. You can also retrieve these keys from your account settings.
Entering API keys into the AI Commerce online store Go to the MyStore page in the AI Commerce online store and enter the Algolia AppID and AppSecret keys into the configuration fields.
Forcing indexing Once the API keys have been entered, go to the top right corner of the management interface and select the rocket icon. Click the Force Reload Algolia Indexes button, which will initiate the indexing. This ensures that Algolia loads all your online store's product data and category information.
