Enabling the small order surcharge takes place in the control panel by navigating to the page Modules > Order Total > Install module, selecting “Small Order Surcharge” and pressing the Install Module button. After this, the sequence number is defined. Usually, the small order surcharge is placed next to the shipping surcharge before the total amount and before the value-added tax.
Additionally, specify:
Order value threshold: the lower limit of the small order surcharge
small order surcharge price and VAT class (usually the general VAT rate)
Show the small order surcharge at checkout by setting the option to true.
After enabling, check at checkout that the small order surcharge and value-added taxes are displayed correctly. We recommend calculating the totals and VAT with a verification calculation to ensure the correctness of the settings.
