Discount codes now support price calculations based on the store's tax treatment.

The discount logic of the AI Commerce platform is now more accurately aligned with the taxation of commerce. If the prices are gross-based, discount codes will also deduct from the gross price. Conversely, if the prices are processed as net, net-based calculations will be used for discounts.

This change ensures that discounts are always displayed to customers in the correct format – and that accounting and legal aspects are met. The system has also updated the logic of previously created discount codes in the database in bulk, so that old codes work in a new way without merchant intervention.
