How did you end up at AI Commerce?
I joined the AI Commerce team in 2020 originally for brand development, partner collaboration, user interface design, and sales tasks. I wanted to fully invest in the development of AI Commerce and better serve online retailers – my passion was (and still is) to find genuinely effective solutions that provide tangible business benefits to customers.
My current role: Head of Growth
Currently, I am responsible for customer acquisition, partnership strategy, and revenue growth at AI Commerce. I help our clients scale their online businesses effectively by leveraging the core benefits of AI Commerce: automation, seamless system integrations, and scalable architecture.
I work closely with customers, partners, and our product development team to ensure that the solutions we offer meet the right needs – today and tomorrow. I believe that growth emerges by combining customer understanding, data-driven decision-making, and agile experimentation. The best customer experience arises when technology does not get in the way but helps achieve goals faster.
Practical experience and e-commerce entrepreneurship
Since 2019, I have also been working as a part-time e-commerce entrepreneur. I founded my own online store that sells fitness services to businesses and consumers. This has provided me with valuable practical experience in running a business, developing customer experiences, and optimizing marketing and sales.
As an online retailer, I have learned to understand customers' daily challenges and to see concretely what kind of technological and business tools are required to solve them. This has brought a valuable additional dimension to my work at AI Commerce as well.
Achievements and projects
I have been involved in nearly all of AI Commerce's user interface design projects. Particularly memorable has been the Security Store and the Nordic Bike Group's online store renewal, where we focused on improving usability and optimizing the purchase path for company bicycles.
I enjoy projects where new, better ways of solving problems and automating processes are created – the goal is always to deliver measurable value to the customer's business.
Working approach and special expertise
I enjoy deeply understanding customers' problems and solving them with modern technology. In the customer interface, my goal is to minimize waste – especially time and money spent designing and implementing features that ultimately do not meet real needs.
“If you consider good design expensive, think about how much bad design can ultimately cost.”
My special expertise includes:
User research and customer-oriented service design
User experience (UX) design and prototyping
Frontend development supporting UI/UX design
Data analysis and data-driven management
Search engine optimization
B2C, D2C, and B2B e-commerce
E-commerce consulting
In the design process, I utilize tools like Figma, Miro, Cursor, Slack, and analytics and data tools depending on the project's needs.
Personality and interests:
In my free time, I enjoy sports and often set small goals for myself. My latest goal is to run 10 kilometers in under 40 minutes. Other hobbies include going to the gym, swimming, reading, and traveling.
Values, personality, and motivation
I consider continuous learning and listening to customer needs as the most important parts of my development. I see customer-centric development as an essential part of effective and long-term collaboration.
What is your favorite book?
Marty Cagan - Inspired.
What is your motto?
“Keep the simple things simple. Make the complex things possible.” – Alan Kay
