AI Commerce now supports order status synchronization with Lemonsoft and Tehden. The synchronization allows the order status to be automatically updated in the online store based on changes made in the ERP system. This reduces manual work and prevents errors in customer communications.
Implementing Synchronization:
Go to Local & Taxes → Order Status.
Enter the corresponding ERP code (e.g., canbepacked) in the API ID field for each order status.
Do not change the names or alerts of the statuses, only the API ID information.
Save the changes. Synchronization will be run automatically once an hour.
Note:
Statuses are not updated in real-time, but once an hour.
If there is a status in the ERP that does not have a counterpart in the online store, the order will not be updated.
The responsibility for mapping statuses lies with the merchant, and it should be done carefully right at the implementation.
Manual changes are not supported:
Manually modifying order lines or totals in the online store is not supported in the current ERP integration, even if the order has been invoiced. Bidirectional and automatic order modification requires a separate development project, which becomes relevant only when multiple dozens of orders to be modified accumulate daily.
Recommendation:
Make changes primarily in the ERP and send the updated order confirmations to the customer. If changes need to be brought back to the online store, this can be done customarily as billable work — request a quote as necessary.
